Shelley Ringo, MD is now accepting patients to her new Sports Medicine and Family Practice at the Primary Health Medical Group State Street Clinic.

Dr. Ringo graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington. She completed her residency at Valley Family Medicine in Washington and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute.

Her practice at Primary Health will focus on both traditional Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. 

As a Board Certified Sports Medicine Physician, Dr. Ringo specializes in promoting lifelong fitness and wellness, encourages prevention of illness and injury and helps patients maximize function and minimize disability and time away from sports, work or school. She manages non-operative sports conditions including joint pain, sprains, strains, and fractures, concussions, athletes with acute or chronic illnesses (such as infections, diabetes, etc), and nutrition, supplements and performance issues. Sports medicine concepts are applicable to athletes of all levels including grade school, high school, college, professional, and recreational.  
 
Dr. Ringo does not require a referral from another physician for sports medicine appointments.
