PRIMARY HEALTH MEDICAL GROUP OPENS NEW STATE STREET CLINIC.
Boise, June 1, 2009 – Primary Health Medical Group opened a new medical clinic in Boise, Idaho today. The new 13,000+ square foot clinic, located at 6052 W. State Street (across from Plantation Golf Course), has replaced the Primary Health Medical Group Wellness Clinic located off of Veteran’s Parkway and the Specialist Center on Emerald Street. The State Street Clinic features expanded Urgent Care services (Monday thru Friday 8am to 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am to 6pm), Family Practice Physicians, Dermatology, Ear, Nose and Throat, and Occupational Health.
“This new clinic will enhance services to both residents in the immediate area and those throughout the Treasure Valley,” said David Peterman, MD, President of Primary Health Medical Group. “Although we’ve had Urgent Care services in that part of Boise for years, the location wasn’t very visible and many area residents weren’t aware of it. The new clinic is in a great location, easy access, with expanded hours. Additionally, we are now administering Adult Immunizations at the new State Street Clinic after Central District Health Department discontinued the program.”
Primary Health Medical Group continues to thrive, even in the challenging economic climate. “By building a new clinic, we are able to increase the number of patients seen, decrease wait times and integrate a better patient flow – all leading to a better experience for our patients,” stated Steve Judy, Director of Operations for Primary Health Medical Group. “With the implementation of our Electronic Health Records system company-wide in 2007, we are continually looking at ways to improve customer satisfaction in our clinics. The new State Street Clinic -in this location- will enhance the customer’s overall health care experience.”
