2009-2010 Flu Season
10/28/09
Primary Health Medical Gorup has received a limited amount of H1N1 Vaccine at several clinics for children AGE 2-4 only.
• If your child has had the seasonal flu vaccine in mist form (FluMist/Nasal Spray) he/she cannot have the H1N1 FluMist until 28 days after receiving the seasonal vaccine.
• In order to receive the vaccine, your child must be healthy and free from chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes or immune disorders, and cannot have a history of wheezing.
• There will be a $19 cost due at time of service or we can bill your insurance.
If your child meets all of the above requirements and is a patient of Primary Health Medical Group Pediatrics, you can call the Pediatrics Clinic at 377-4400 to make an appointment. The vaccine is also available on a walk-in basis at the Eagle Clinic, State Street Clinic or Broadway Clinic. It is advisable to call the clinic you will be visiting to make sure they still have H1N1 vaccine in stock prior to arriving at the Clinic.

Several of our clinics have received a small amount of FluMist seasonal flu vaccine including: Nampa, Broadway, and State Street. Please call the clinic before making the trip, as the supply is small and doses are going fast. Our suppliers have notified us that we will not be receiving the remainder of our seasonal flu vaccine supply (no more flu shots coming) at least for the foreseeable future. We are still working with the State to see if it is possible to obtain H1N1 vaccine for the general public. Keep checking our website or become a FAN of our Facebook page and be notified when shipments arrive.
10/15/09
The majority of our clinics are currently out of seasonal flu vaccine. Please call the clinic you are planning to visit before making the trip. You can find all clinic locations and phone numbers here.
9/23/09
Flu shots are NOW available at our Pediatrics Clinic. Call 377-4400 today to make an appointment (note: flu shots at the Pediatrics Clinic are only available for patients on an appointment basis, sorry no walk-ins). Both traditional flu shots and FluMist are available in the Peds clinic, talk to your health care provider about what is the best option for your child.
9/7/09
Primary Health Medical Group is now giving Flu Shots (influenza vaccine) at all Clinic Locations (Urgent Care, Family Practice and The Clinic at Walmart), with the exception of the Pediatrics Clinic (the Pediatric Flu Vaccine is expected to arrive any day).
